Replacing rear Silencer 4x4

Tools for this little Job are quite limited but if like myself you have to do it without a lift a blow torch is essential.

Anyway you will require:-

10mm Spanner or socket
13mm Spanner or long reach socket
Rubber Mallet
Blow Torch
Pair of grips
Slippery compound of sorts I used copperslip.

very useful guide, thanks Alan.

I just wanted to add my 2 cents...

the bolt which held the rear rubber to the exhaust had perished quite badly on mine. However i found by sifting through the bolts box that the bolt for the manifold cover was an excellent replacement, it also looked made of something non-ferous.
