Saw a trailer on Friday night for the new series of Top Gear.

There was a white Panda (looked like a late one) that Clarkson cuts in half and then attempts to drive.......it could be fun but it could be especially if they slag it off

Oh no, this day has come. I knew it would, the panda is too badly recognised as a "bad" car for it to not go on top gear for a joke.
Maybe it will take over the hilux's place in the most indistructable vehicle

There are going to be so many twits ringing me up when they see that.

As i like top gear though, it shouldnt bother me too much as they'll probably be quite funny. Well i hope so, for clarksons sake :devil:

Ah its a shame they have to pick on the panda!!! geez its a great little car!!there are plenty of modern sheds on the road to pick on!!!
the panda is a character car,with bags of charm!!

Well, last year they made a armour plated one and put Hamster in it and shot at it but weirdly never showed it on telly

Really Well if you mean they filmed it last year then this one might be what your speaking of. Could be fun to watch if they do a little more than just cut it in half. Armour plating cooool.

Why don't they cut Clarkson in half instead. Now that would be genuinely funny

They burried one of fifth gear a few months back. Well, i say burried.....they dag a hole in the ground with some sad music, put the panda in the hole then the music stops and they crush it with a digger IIRC

I enjoy topgear and i know the panda's seen as a bit of a joke car so i won't take it the wrong way

Hmmm ok, well thats a shame. Looks like this top gear thin is going to be crud then if its just cutting a panda in half and seeing if it'll drive. Wat a pathetic world we live in. At least an armoured panda had comic value.

Ah fook, im drunk. Arnt in a good mood either so i'll just let this one go before i say summit i regret!

All I can say is, those wheels are clean.....those crazy dutchmen.

That explains the phone call my wife got... I was at work and she said someone phoned from Top Gear wanting to ask about spares for Pandas, must have got my number from someone!!! Anyway they said theyd phone the next morning, well that was four days ago, no call yet! So obviously they are going to do a proper feature if they want that sort of info?!?!

Watching a re-run of top gear today it showed a clip of an armoured panda , it was red a hammond was driving it.

Think it was a 2005 opening programme there was the range rover sport vs challenger tank and toyota aygo football.
