smooth journey Alan

Well Ivor's Home :) The weather has been very poor all day for most of the way a combination of freezing fog & thick fog for most of it with some bright spots in between. But on the whole an uneventfull journey and Willie again performed flawlessly. I've said it once or twice but will say it again I'm just staggered by how good he is and how well he performs another 700odd miles under the belt and 350+ towing Ivor back.

Anyway onto Ivor, at first glance he had been stuck in a corner of the yard not good I thought until I realised that was my fault, as soon as the deal was made on the phone he was put out of the way not to be used and awaiting my collection. So my fault he stood there for a few months  The keys were produced and on the first turn kicked into life immediately and sounded superb no rattles just purred like a kitten, Obviously happy to meet me for the first time & was trying to impress :) I had a look round and there are a couple of dents one on the nearside breaking the n/s headlight & indicator and one on the O/S which has pushed the wing in very slightly. Both are just cosmetic and will be repaired with not much difficulty. There is no rust anywhere except a TINY bubble at the bottom of the drivers door, other than that the doors and sills are solid. Underneith is also solid with nothing untoward. The engine is slightly oily but unmolested and as said previously runs like a dream. The gearbox shows no supprises and selected all gears smoothly. The wheel trims will be in the bin by tomorrow. The front shocks & tryes look brand new so will have a look through the History to see what else has been done.

There is a complete with crossbars ROOFRACK :D :D :D :D :D :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: (y) (y) (y) (y) I'm a very happy man :D

The interior is good but the rooflining is falling appart ? Other than that it's very clean so well worth the trip. Milage is well, I forgot to look and will check later  I recon a tiny bit of care and a good polish and it will be a stunner.

So Fiat Forum Meet Ivor exactly as I did this morning......

Unfortunately wee Willie looked at his worst after the dirty salty roads took their toll but that is just a quick wash away from being sorted.

He didn't have any other Fiats in as they were all out on location but Mr Bean's car for the new series was being prepared but never took any pics  sorry
