Satans Rodent drives!

I couldn't resist taking the 'Rat out of the garage under her own power today. Still loads to do but seems like she's going to be a little cracker. Engine revs lovely and seems nippy enough although I didn't get out of first or go any further than the drive.

Re: Satans Rodent drives!

Cheers guys. Nice to have a bit of encouragement. I'm needing it right now (see my thread about the driveshaft).

I know what you mean. At the moment I have a pair of brand new Metro MK1 lights which I am going to fit simply because I have them (therefore zero cost) and because they will be so simple to fit. I've been toying with the idea of twin headlight units and I may still modify it at some future time. In the meantime, it will get the Metro lights plus two or four spotlights.

Re: Satans Rodent drives!

Rick if your worried about cost of the 7 series headlights don't i was going to give you them for F/A. I'm looking at getting a set of projector lamps with angel eyes built in for the 7 series so will have another spare set soon if i needed them.

Oh! just to add they are mounted by 4 self tapping bolts on each side

Re: Satans Rodent drives!

How about this then Alan?

I'm travelling back to Wales on Saturday evening. I could call in and pick up the lights from you on my way home. Failing that, I could call in on my way back up on the next trip (not sure when this will be yet). I'm not going to get as far as major bodywork and lights this trip so I could bring them with me on the next trip. I could try them for size and if I don't use them return them to you.

Re: Satans Rodent drives!

Crewe isn't far out of my way actually as I travel down the M6 to J9 on my way home. However, I will be travelling on Saturday evening so it would be about 9pm (ish) by the time I passed there. When are you expecting to be home on Saturday?
