Last week my daughter answered the front door to a man who remembered that we had a Panda and would we like another.
Went round to his house that evening and bought his Panda . It's a black 750 bodywork is shiny but dented but rust free.
The engine has had the head removed due to low compression.
Took it apart and then to a machine shop to get the valves recut.
They said it was beyond economic repair due to heavy scoring on the camshaft surface.
So we need either a new head or a complete engine.

I have an engine free to good home turns over I think it would be fine. 67k a bit dirty but !!!999cc 19 89 carb and distributor model but would fit fine unless you want a 750

I do have most of a 750, its pretty much a bare engine now as i sold the alternator, starter, inlet and carb etc etc off it but the bottom end and head are here and in good condition. I had just pulled the head and renewed the valve seals and cleaned everything up before i decided to do engine swap in my panda.

Whereabouts are you based jerry2? I'm in Forest-of-Dean, few miles off end of M50.

I wouldn't want much for it, rather it got used than just sat being unused as I am highly unlikely to ever use it. The head is on the bottom end but not torqued down at all so you could easily take it off and have a look at the head and the cylinders etc if you wish.
