It is being discussed on radio 2. I wonder how many people at large would see any of the panda crew on regular roads and think they were evil nature killers?

100% of the Ramblers' Association will do, and probably around 50% of everyone else. But the fact of the matter is that we make very little physical footprint on the countryside in comparison with Landrovers and motorbikes.

Are you against us doing what we do?

Definitely not. I have been involved in bothy maintenance and hiking over a number of years, a vehicle is often a necessity and if a Road is not passed it becomes impassable. Kids have put stop to most of my former antics though.

In my opinion as walker and mountain biker . Many footpaths and bridleways are actually unused roads from the time of the salters ways but we're never registered as so due to a lack of horsey around people at the birth of the public rights of way not being registered as so the defaulted to foot paths.
