Got a pretty bad oil leak on my daughters selecta.

In her infinite wisdom her answer to this was just to keep randomly filling the engine oil up, so now not only is pissing out all over but their must be about two or three litres of oil in there more than there should be.

My main worry is if the oil is coming out of the transmission or not. The level of the selecta oil looks ok ( unless I am being fooled by deposits on the dip stick?) but the leaking oil is black like engine oil, not red like the transmission fluid.

It's probably a daft question but do the selecta run ordinary oil in parts of the transmission as well as the red fluid?.

If I had to guess I would say the leak is from the area of the oil cooler. It's managed to find its way on the nsf wheel.

Found the problem...:(
The feed pipe to the oil cooler is leaking, obviously transmission fluid.

Going to need to source some pipes and change the fluid too, I've just put a litre of generic CVT fluid in to keep it afloat until I can sort it properly.

Does anybody know if there is a source for the pipes, or is it case of getting hydraulic specialist to make some?.

The problem was compounded by a water leak from the radiator just above the oil cooler which was chucking water about in the same area.

You should be able to get a part number from eper :)

Clever system EPER, unfortunately the parts aren't available anymore, nobody has old stock according to my local dealer.

The Selecta at the scappers in Northamptonshire is bereft of them too.

Unless anybody here has a set?.

Might need to get a set made up somehow, looks relatively straight forward just need the right size Banjo attached to some high pressure line. Can anybody give me details of the banjo so I don't have to remove it while I wait for a set?

I'm wondering if it would be possible to remove the pipes from banjo and just clip on new ones, they are properly crimped on at the gearbox end, but only clipped to the cooler with a jubilee type clip. I think it would depend on the outlet pipe on he banjo, but unless it's dismantled I won't know.
