Could it be the one for you ?

We had one of these 16 years ago but it sadly passed away !

Aw well Brian is growing stronger now !

That's hilarious. After waiting for ages for something suitable, and after mine arrived yesterday: along comes another one...and a lot closer too! Sigh. Same age and mileage too ... if it goes for less than 1200, I shall be proper pissy :D
But I would bet a fiver it won't.
Nice to see they are still out there, though. What is it; less than 50 left on the road now?

Could it be the one for me? Maybe... in talks with the auction holder. Trying to arrange a viewing but the bloke says he's only available on Sunday, which is the day the auction ends. Wouldn't auctions normally be held when there's time to view the car? Seeing what I can sort out now as I tend to work most of Sunday.

That's the way of the game usually! Which one did you buy, does it compare similarly in terms of condition as well? This one is a bit rough around the edges, but these are getting rarer and rarer now so finding one with an MOT is good. This one is close to me so perhaps you're at least fairly close as well?

I'm hoping it will go for less than 1200, I haven't got much to spare as it is... if I do forfeit it though then I'll have to hope another one comes up. Car Count UK shows 46 left on the road, howmanyleft shows 43, but a further 120 on SORN. Not too many left, all starting to get into enthusiasts hands now though so hopefully these ones survive!

Wasn't on ebay, but a response to my ad on the forum, asking for one. Mine doesn't have MOT and is one of the SORN crew, although not for long. Mine's a bit rough round the edges too, but seems to have a solid heart to it - you know that feeling you get? Think this one will be ok. I'm down in Cornwall, so NOTHING is ever close to me! Oh, and it has a sunroof - factory fit.

Ah, 3 hours from me then. Nothing at all I imagine :p Another Sisley on eBay now but a damaged one. Also about an hour from me. With some work, I think a lot of the 4x4s are saveable. Yours sounds good, rough round the edges but still on the road means they actually get used! With the rarity being ever higher, the point where it's considered saveable moves as well. I imagine someone who was handy with a welder could do up the damaged 4x4 up on eBay as well. Lots more work and money to put in, but they are worth much more at the end of it now - my father's friend had a Sisley (with MOT) for likely not much more than only a few hundred quid a good ten years ago. I look forward to seeing more of yours in the future! :)

Owen don't rush into it. As you say if he's wanting to sell the car he should be ready for people to view it really.
I wouldn't buy on a whim, I'd only buy if I got to see it and ideally make an offer on the spot if I did want to buy. Do I have you on Facebook? Would like to ask you a couple questions about it :)

Saw that one, the colour isn't for me though and can't afford a respray :p

This one is going quite nice and cheap (for obvious reasons), I wonder how hard it would be to do up... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fiat-Pand...c242060&pid=100009&rk=2&rkt=2&sd=232276079362

I guess front panel required font wing
May be a bumper works to inner wing
Possible bonnet. Suspension parts. Then any other stuff underneath not. Damaged but requires attention

Think around £1000 then it won't be a supprise

Wing, grille, headlight, bumper, mounts, inner arch guard and the main front panel at the least most likely, well the bumper does look okay, but just to repair the damage will require those parts.

Doing just that wouldn't be too bad, but it looks like it has been sat for a while so there could be a lot else. There's no indication of the condition of the sills which is quite important when looking at any Panda, and the seam in the rear arches. Various other bits to consider.

I think someone could be able to do it, whoever that is, they need time to sort it though! Hopefully someone can put it together rather than taking it apart, got to keep these Sisleys on the road :D

Arranging a viewing on the green Sisley for this weekend (y)

Well any one up for a pair of pandas There is a red Sisley and a silver Sisley on eBay by the same seller
Sounds familiar. We ended up with 3. I am tempted
That would increase the population by 60% better than a panda eh.

The silver one is a standard 4x4 with Sisley seats ;)
Let us know what it's like and whether you bid/made an offer, would you?
I am going to view it first to see what it's like underneath. If all is good underneath then I'll make an offer in person. My only problem at the minute is that the auction is getting ever higher in price, so the higher it goes, the less likely my offer is going to be accepted... got to hope it hovers where it is so I can make my offer without him wanting to just complete the auction. Otherwise I'll either have to walk away or just participate in the auction and travel there again if I win. We'll have to see, but I'm considering it :)
