So I'm replacing my stock intake with a sport air filter, gonna put proper tubing aswell but I came across a vacuumline of which I don't know the purpose of, anyone here able to tell me what it's for? It's the line that's connected between the carter and air intake that goes to the throttle body.
Thanks in advance

What sort of filter you are upgrading to?
I use K&N in my 899 and it's just fine
I would not mess with a cone

Well it's a cone :p got it from a mate but it's a bit too big so I'll have to play around with reduction tubes :/ need to figure out the whole carter situation aswell..

Good luck with it... won't achieve any more than a good K&N filter
Keep us updated

Yeah it won't do anything performancewise but atleast it'll be a bit more responsive and we can have a bit of a laugh in our local cargroup, most mods on the car are just to have some fun or have a bit of a laugh every once in a while :)

Hey, yeah I asked around on a couple of places and they said it's not really that bad if I should ditch that line and go for a catchcan between the carter and the air intake aswell
