Can someone tell me please how can i use the throttle body from a punto mk1(spi) into a fiat uno 1992,1108cc fire engine code 156c046 with Bosch spi and catalytic converter.
Is it possible ?
Uno uses 4wires and punto 3.

hmm i am not sure. you are mixing 2 brands of electronics there. the magneti and the bosch.
i did try to put the bosch SPI system onto a carbed panda. it worked and did save fuel but it made the car quite slow.

my guess of the wiring would be, 2 wires to control the idle stepper motor and 2 wire for the AFC switch.. i am pretty sure that the punto uses a potentiometer which would use 3 wires.

The throttle position sensor(Bosch spi) of my uno is giving me big troubles.
I was thinking if i could use the injection unit of a punto mk1 spi as a replacement unit.
Used replacement units(entire Bosch carburetor) cost 40-50euros and all of them are risky.
Can you please drawn your thoughts in a paper and post since i have no idea about car electronics ?
What other options do i have ?

if you have a crank position sensor i would just convert the whole thing over to the merelli system. they never fail. the bet way to tell if you have a crank position sensor is if the engine has a distributor, if it does sadly you wont be able to convert it over.

No it doesn't have crank position sensor but has distributor with vacuum as shown video.
It's almost the same with the car on your video but it has electric pump fuel inside fuel tank.
The only sensor sensors are lamba,coolant,stepper idle,throttle position(which is worm),one ht coil and one more behind 1st cylinder next to oil dipstick mounted to engine block covered with brown plastic rubber seal.
For the moment i am trying to overcome the problem by changing position of the distributor I have it currently at 1degree while the proper is 3-5degrees.
