I'm just back from Como last week and was surprised at how many classic Pandas I saw in daily use. I reckon I must have seen over 150 in a week, many of them 4wd and none obviously rusty. Even the local public authorities still had quite a number of basic ones in use.
I reckon the most common modern cars were the new Panda, followed by the 500, so the local dealers seem to be doing a good job.
I Googled Pandas for sale in Como and came up with quite a few cars with prices up to €4500, not cheap but probably a very good at that.
Surprisingly I saw very few a few miles away in Bergamo or Lake Garda. Last year in Bologna there were few old Fiats of any description but possibly because of being battered to death by the crazy impact parking in that city.
