General Mid Wales 4x4 Meet - Carmarthenshire - Introduction

Only a week to go now before we head for the hills! I've had no word with regards to what's happening with Practical Classics so it's like we'll just be spending the day as we would have done; getting muddy!

Sam and I are planning on setting off around 9am on the Monday, is anybody interested in meeting up on our way down for a convoy?

Cheers Andy. I can't get out of work on the Mon/Tues, so am going to finish early on the Tuesday and head down then.

Anyone have a spare seat on Weds in case I can't get the 4x4 sorted for the trip??.. :worship:

Thanks
David

So I've got two options of routes according to a quick Google, the second one although 20 mins slower for us would be better for meeting up with Freebo, panda1408 and kolza I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong guys!

David you're more than welcome to ride in G with us, and have a go as well!

Either route is fine by me, M1 route may be better for meeting up with Freddy, I'm up for meeting at Woodall services as usual on the M1?

I've chased a few times but haven't heard anything back Andy. I can't do anything I'm afraid - he's acknowledged the contact but still hasn't given detail. It may be that PC haven't confirmed their timings of course, but I'm guessing! (n)

Don't worry Gav we've got plenty to do if the plan fails anyway :)

So we'll be meet Freebo on the way down at woodall services which is about an hour for both of us. Freddy panda1408 if we are meeting you in Telford as we discussed yesterday, the services sounds like good place. We'll just have to calculate a time! Is anybody else from the north heading this way? northernchap panda panda I presume you guys will be taking the M62?

M1 route looks best to me, can I suggest we meet up at Telford Services off the M54? It will then be around a 2 and a half hour drive cross country to the farm.

Looks about 1hr 40min/2hr from Woodall to Telford Services on the M54. So if we say Telford for 12:30?

Sounds like we're all getting ready!

Just a quick note to say that the PC team have released their schedule and the possibility of meeting up with them will be between 3:30 and 4:30 on Tuesday afternoon. I have basically said that we will have a group discussion about it on Monday after tea to decide whether we go or not.
