Hi all, was looking into suspension on my car. Spax springs (40mm lower) cost about £100 and are available, but the shock absorbers seem to be a bit harder to find, and cost a good deal, probably £300 total all in with the springs and shocks.

To start with, this got my thinking about if anyone had any used stuff that was decent so I sent a couple messages out. One person came back and said to have a chat with FURY AutoWorx, so I did, and now I've come to tell you my findings!

FURY AutoWorx is run by a K10 Micra and old school car fan, and they make parts that nobody else makes so that people can continue to enjoy an aftermarket for older cars.

The person offered me to come down to their workshop in Louth (just south of Grimsby) and said that they would measure and make parts for my Panda using the current suspension as a basis. This was a great offer, would give me a chance to hopefully get some cheaper suspension bits and presented an opportunity to open up more aftermarket suspension pieces for Panda classic owners. Unfortunately, I'm still on provisional right now and this is 4 hours drive away from me.

So, this got me thinking... this guy is passionate about aftermarkets for older cars like this, and says the offer is open. Would anyone else be interested in going down there to have their suspension measured by them, or have any spare pieces they could let them measure to knock up some good new suspension options for us? I messaged them on their Facebook to talk to them and they're super friendly. I recommend giving them a message if you need some new suspension pieces, the option for Spax and the other shocks are there but this could be an interesting idea!

Thought it was worth a mention :)

It says they make fuel tanks too if anyone wants to be the first to volunteer...? No point measuring my suspension as it's a 4x4.
I'll give them a shout later, see what the crack is.
That's handy then, I did see a thread on this section not so long ago asking about them and having problems getting them. This guy is really friendly so give them a message on their Facebook and I'm sure they'll be able to sort something out! Let us know how it goes Andy.

Suspension is a bit different on the 4x4 of course but if you want suspension pieces then you can still ask him about it for your Panda if you want some bits (y)
