I get what you mean about price, but if it's got a test on then that's pretty good. I mean look at the heap of c**p I bought for 850!

Now admittedly it's a 4x4 but still it shows the price for a tatty car, your one looks nice and is probably worth the money. On the other hand, does sound like he's mucked around a bit so you're right to be wary - good luck anyway, hope it works out! :)
It's got new tyres too, I suppose I should appreciate that :p I had a look at your thread and it looks great, a 4x4 or a 1000 S would be my dream Panda but obviously I'm going with what I can get and what's more suitable as a first car right now.

He did muck around a bit, but I've asked for a second viewing on the car. I'll do my last few checks, and if I'm happy, I'll go for £1,100-£1,150. It's near me and it's in good condition, so I should take advantage of the fact I won't have to pay for it to be brought back here or anything. There's a few things I'd like to do to it over the time I have it, but I can do that out of my own pocket when time allows...

Out of curiosity, how easy was it taking that Panda 4x4 badge off the back of your Panda? I had a look at how to debadge/rebadge the old Pandas and came up with no luck with a google search! Cheers :D

Mine had a FIAT badge on the left, which was just stuck on with double sided tape, and the Panda 4x4 on the right, which has two small holes. It was easy to prise off, but if you wanted to leave it like that you'd need to fill in the holes somehow, hence why I put mine back on. You can see them in post 11 on my thread.

Yep, I saw the pictures in post 11 and that's why I asked! I know the Panda I'm looking at has two holes for the Panda 1000 badge too, but nothing on the Fiat badge. They were faded so I was just wondering how easy they were to replace with new ones (y)

Going to get some sealant for the door rust, it's not too bad. I'll get it in the garage soon, hopefully going to get some new window trim (underneath of the window, not the trim around the top) as it's shrunk over the years. I'll leave the dent as is.

In the meantime, say hello to my first car, Pandino, my new 1993 Fiat Panda Fizz! (y)
