Hello everyone!
I have been around for a while reading and gather a lot of useful information on this forum. This forum seams soo good (and friendly) that I will definetly stay =)

I thought its time to tell who I am.

My name is Buster from Sweden and I bought a Fiat Panda 4x4 -88 two years ago.

As a test drive I signed up in the Mongol Rally 2014.

I drove Sweden - London - Europe - Iran - Turkmenistan - Uzbekistan - Kirghistan - Kazakhstan - Russia - Mongolia.

I then found out that the the trip was quite hard on the car (tho it was leaking oil from the gearbox and the head gasket from the start).
But I was surprised the car actually made it :D

for more details and pics I have a lame homepage (its not finished, some day...)
http://geekandfreak.se/

And now I have fallen in love in that car...
So now I am fixing it. But I will save that story for another thread

BTW, Anyone knows the part number for the CV boot that are closest to the engine? (with bearing)

Hello(y),You can find the CV boot part number here:http://eper.fiatforum.com/eper/navi...INT_MODE=0&EPER_CAT=SP&WINDOW_ID=1&GUI_LANG=3
The ePER tab at the top of the page (on full PC mode, doesn't show if you're viewing the mobile site I think) is a link to a copy of the Fiat parts catalogue if you are looking for any part numbers. If it throws up errors just try again later, it can only support a limited number of viewers so if it's busy you'll sometimes not get straight in.

..edit..like he just said while I was just typing away..

- Looks a bit as though you are sniffing the Suzuki's roofrack in this photograph @kolza..?

I was assessing general weak contruction and poor condition of the most squeaky roofrack ever fitted and tested accross Kazahstan.

The question was : should I take it off and haggle it in nearest settlement or leave it and let it go.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome :)
Hopefully I can join some of the trips in the future.
Im have some videos from my Mongol Rally trip, hopefully I will get enough time to finish it someday.
if you want to see the preview then I have it on youtube. (its parts of a time laps)

Sorry, no sound on the video.
