Well I'm needing some muddy fun on the calendar so who's up for coming over to my neck of the woods at the start of December?

I'm not going to put a massive amount of information about the trails up on this one, we all know the score by now. But what I will say is that a lot of the lanes will be different from the usual 4x2-friendly ones that we've done on previous Yorkshire weekends.

I know it's short notice but I've been in contact with a couple of the northern members who are wanting to meet up, so I thought I should just get everyone invited anyway :)

I'm not going to put an event thread up, we can sort it all in our own section...

Saturday December 5th

Meet point: Masham recritional ground (postcode HG4 4DS)

Time: Between 11:30am and 12:30pm.

Target... High Lane, West Burton and Raydale, Stalling Busk (weather depending) aswell as trails in between. Day time laning in the heart of the Yorkshire dales, then a pub for tea.

If people are staying over for the weekend I'm planning on doing a couple of hours on some local lanes after tea as well... In the dark ;)

Sunday December 6th

Meet point: Masham recritional ground (postcode HG4 4DS)

Time: Between 9:30am and 10:30am.

Target... Middlesmoor, Scar House reservoir and "Dead Man's Hill". This is the big one, after an excellent trail was achieved on Freddy's event it's time to hit the Yorkshire Dales all guns blazing. After this we'll head to one of the usual muddy playgrounds, either Sharow or Paul's Farm.

4x4s only on this event due to the challenging trails on both days, however as usual there will be spare seats available in many vehicles so if you'd like to join in and don't have a 4x4 please just post up

Any questions regarding accommodation either reply below or send me a PM, I have space at my house as well if anybody wishes to stay.

Please post your attendance below copy and pasting the list...

No problem Gav - if you turn your phone off then work goes away ;)

I forgot about the white stuff... If we get high enough we may just be in luck :)

Yes but I'm working 7 days a week then to try to fend off the end of Jan deadline. The phone isn't the problem, just the piles of records. Still we'll see.

Snow would be good though. :)

It's a Dyane! :p It will be in a Fiat colour though by the time I've finished. :)

Yes you're right, but it's easier said than done in December & January.

Without tempting an influx of Citroën pictures, I have not seen it yet... although life without Facebook does have masses of benefits, this is clearly not one of them. Yes I know "stoptober" was an idea for people to stop smoking, but that would be rubbish so I thought I'd just knock Facebook on the head for a month instead  well it's an addiction after all...

Imagine an old Dyane in this colour - that's what it will be. :yum:

No idea why it went above the quote, but couldn't be bothered to fix it....

I'll await the finished article before casting judgement Gav :)

Some accommodation information thanks to Jacob, The Castle Arms Inn, Snape which is close to the meeting point has rooms available on the weekend of the meet if anybody's looking
