Just to add my thanks to Freddy and John for a great weekend and superb hospitality, the bar on these Panday's just keeps getting higher - as do the off road challenges - Fantastic!

Managed to avoid the motorways until I was well into West Yorkshire so saw even more fantastic scenery on the way home, if you ever get the chance to do b roads through Buxton, Glossop and Penistone (stop giggling at the back) it comes highly recommended!

Thanks again and look forward to the next one!

Fantastic weekend, as ever when Panda's are involved :D

just to eco the others and say thank you to Jon and Freddy for their awesome hospitality, it was fantastic, and even the rain didn't ruin things too much :)

I'll try and get my 101 pics up at some point soon for everyone to see, although it already looks like others have some amazing snaps up :)

Well weather is crap and I have a stinking cold so I'll stay in and get the photos and vids sorted now! Forgot to also thank Andy andyholli for my new panda toy (Might have to install a ridiculous engine into it which I guess in this case is any engine at all...must have some old pull back cars to use as a donor... maybe a lancia one...)

And big thanks to John Dragon Man for the Marbella headlights. I can live without fear of headlight woes for a little longer!

And also thanks to John panda panda for letting me take the mk1 bull bars back with me. I'll try them on and see how they look as soon as I have gotten the headlight switch fixed!

Here's Si with his afternoon tea and cakes...

ok guys i have just managed to get my cheap DVR footage uploaded of the whole off roading event!
almost an hours worth of watching! here you go!

Strikes me, watching this, that the footage might make useful viewing if you were a Parish council looking for evidence of how respectfully people use the local lanes...;)

Hello Everyone! Sorry for the delay but wanted to do it all in one reply,

I just want to join the thank you train/Panda express to all involved and the Host's of the whole event has it wouldn't of happened without them.

I'd like to add what amazing experience it was and what a joy it was to be there, as I hadn't ever done anything like that before and it surprises me how reliable and the capability of the pandas themselves. It gives me lots of confidence to drive anywhere without having to worry.(y)

Anyway I look forward to the next and I think you have now given me the Panda bug to get more cars and parts Opps, Well done everyone.:slayer:

Below is a video I made first half being people trying/getting up the rocky hill and the last half me making a poor/first time attempt at "real" Offroading. Hope to see you all soon in the future.

Nicely put Lewis and great footage, thank you. Interesting to watch the inclinometer during your climb - confirming how utterly useless they are, even in a video.

And I didn't realise there were extra trials points for stopping and restarting on the hill. - Next time.:bang:

Thanks Lads. You did make me laugh Andy the way you just went straight up the hill with the whole family in the car bouncing away, if you listen carefully in the film you can hear them screaming as you drive away.
