General Wheeler dealers

I would rather buy a Fiat 500, than be in the same country as Mike Brewer.
You are so grumpy!!

When they sold the Fiat Dino coupe on eBay the description said that the buyer would be asked to be on the tele buying it.

My guess is that the sale of the Panda is already a done deal.

well they normally get some one in with a really good one on the show.. i just wonder who its gonna be.. who has a really good looking (almost new) panda 4x4?

They don't tend to do that any more, now they show more of Mike buying parts or going to engineering places or upholsters to get work done.

To my knowledge that's only happened once, on the vw beetle episode due to time constraints, don't think its the done thing?

Well the VW t25 van they sold to ed at a loss and there was also another orange VW van they never sold, I fact there have been plenty they've not sold, over the dozens of series

They are sold on the Wheeler Dealers site now. It's a link on discovery

I think you're right, often well before the series has even been finalised so as a consequence you see the cars long before they even announce the program, that said quite a few are sold off probably to dealer contacts of brewer

It's an entertaining car program, that's good enough for me (y)
Not to fussed what they do with the car at the end,

That about sums it up. All reality programs are contrived one way or another, car shows are no exception. Tune in & just go with the flow, simple. There are some annoying characters, however nothing to get too worked up about. Wheeler Dealers is one of the more cheesier efforts it has to be said.

At the end of the the day, the car is the star. Chill out & take these type of programs for what they are. Life's too short for getting all worked up just because some irritating knob gets to you....:)

They usually get 'sold' on TV to a producer and then on ebay, by the production company.

Hi folks,

Excuse the radio silence. I have been told today that I can confirm a couple of bits!

I have been trying to help WD with the Panda project (Bob's been involved too), and Andy has given them help and advice too.

The producer wanted a "pristine" 4x4 for that section (they still do that, but in a different format at the start of the episode). I was asked for a pristine Panda, at a certain location/date/time, but the owner had to allow it to be used off-road by them, couldn't be grey, silver, white, beige, black, etc. Although I genuinely didn't want to go "me me me" (mine really isn't pristine, and anyway if there was another I would have rather offered that!), that was the only one I could think of as a possibility at that time (actually with the timing, location, condition, colours, and off-roading we don't think there was another obvious candidate) - the producer loved the look from pics, and said it was perfect. So Howie is the "pristine" car for that episode - hope the bubbly bits don't show!

Bob and I went down to do the filming, and I've just been told we can put some of our own photos up. I'll do something later - there was a lot of standing there watching them photograph the car, then they did lots or driving round off-road (more standing around), and apparently the footage is excellent with the car & colour perfect! Actually we had a good day as the film crew were a good laugh, and allowed us to watch (most owners sit in the cafe I think - why?!) - it's really not glamorous or exciting though, as anyone who's done film/mag features will tell you.

The car has been finished. We can't give you pictures, but go over to Facebook and you'll see Mike Brewer posted a 1/4 view of the Panda yesterday (it's on my timeline too).

It will be sold to a genuine buyer, they don't do the conspiracy theory stuff in normal circumstances. Don't think there's much else I can tell you - it will be a great looking episode though, whether or not you like the result. (y)
