I'm a bit dubious about this pebbledash finish. It could hide a multitude of sins. Still it will be entertaining to see mainstream TV coverage of a Panda.

Been pulled from eBay - another time wasting selling imo

As with a lot of EBay stuff, you need to speak to the seller & offer proper money if you want to buy something. A real person with money offers you what you want & is able to take part in the filming. I'd have sold it rather than letting the auction run too, if I'm honest! Too many messers & Ebay car sales falling through. They need to film in a couple of weeks, and couldn't risk a no show I'd think.

Often EBay is a shopfront to get it seen - I've certainly bought cars & had the auction pulled, as it's the only way to guarantee anything.

I love Wheeler Dealers and am not surprised that it is a little 'contrived' but that is TV for you

Not sure about the finished article, so prefer the look of the original car but happy that the Panda gets airtime on that fabulous show...Edd rocks!

Totally agree with these comments.

It can only swell the popularity of the cars though imo 2wd's are better for everyday use:rolleyes:

any news on the Panda?
still for sale somewhere??

Think it sold a while ago on eBay, I remember it being up there after it had been on the show.

Just looked back on this thread. So strange, because I was actually looking at that original Panda auction before it went on the show! Wasn't looking to buy at the time, was just showing an interest, but it really reminded me of how long I've actually been looking at Panda classics for!
