Hi Panda people,
Thought it was time to break my silence
I've owned pandas for just over a twenty happy years, sadly it all has to come to an end sooner or later.
Chaz (the M reg) fell in to a state of diss-repair following a trip to London, his head gasket blew on the way home but the valiant little fella battled home firing on three, not two days later Baz (the original panda van) also blew his head gasket. Priority in fixing has always been Baz, so for lack of my own time he got shipped out to an ex fiat dealer mechanic to have the gaskets replaced. This left Chaz sitting with no time or spare cash to also ship him off to get fixed and so he's sat since.
Baz met his match just over a week ago, jumping in to him at work he turned over but wouldn't fire. After much digging about and investigation it turned out to be the fuel pump defunked and home he went with the AA.
Now, i've landed a really good job making aeroplane parts and they are getting slightly fed up of me either not been able to get to work or turning up as a part drowned muddy grubby smelly biker (i also ride a buell!)
Ive been thinking of getting something newer for a while as i need reliability and a decent heater (in my old age!) So purchased a 2008 Panda Eleganza this weekend just passed, Baz's famed gold wheels fit a treat so they will continue to live with me as they have done for the past 18 years or so (hell i had to keep something from my accumulated stash!)
It is really going to break my heart to see this lot go
ive lived and breathed pandas for a real long time and they have been a huge part of my life, times move on, its the end of an era and a new beginning. I hope it all goes to a really good home where it will be as loved as it has been here, so many happy memories, blood, sweat and tears.
All the best
Jeni (panda van)
p.s. im open to offers !!!
