Oh no, real shame, she was always had one (well, two) of the most distinctive Pandas around at shows when I first started going. Notice the lovely gold rims aren't part of the haul though, going separately or got another home?

Yes that's one of the 2 for sale I think. I guess the wheels have gone as they're not for sale.

You can just see the van back on that photo - still

Hi Panda people,

Thought it was time to break my silence :D I've owned pandas for just over a twenty happy years, sadly it all has to come to an end sooner or later.

Chaz (the M reg) fell in to a state of diss-repair following a trip to London, his head gasket blew on the way home but the valiant little fella battled home firing on three, not two days later Baz (the original panda van) also blew his head gasket. Priority in fixing has always been Baz, so for lack of my own time he got shipped out to an ex fiat dealer mechanic to have the gaskets replaced. This left Chaz sitting with no time or spare cash to also ship him off to get fixed and so he's sat since.

Baz met his match just over a week ago, jumping in to him at work he turned over but wouldn't fire. After much digging about and investigation it turned out to be the fuel pump defunked and home he went with the AA.

Now, i've landed a really good job making aeroplane parts and they are getting slightly fed up of me either not been able to get to work or turning up as a part drowned muddy grubby smelly biker (i also ride a buell!)

Ive been thinking of getting something newer for a while as i need reliability and a decent heater (in my old age!) So purchased a 2008 Panda Eleganza this weekend just passed, Baz's famed gold wheels fit a treat so they will continue to live with me as they have done for the past 18 years or so (hell i had to keep something from my accumulated stash!)

It is really going to break my heart to see this lot go  ive lived and breathed pandas for a real long time and they have been a huge part of my life, times move on, its the end of an era and a new beginning. I hope it all goes to a really good home where it will be as loved as it has been here, so many happy memories, blood, sweat and tears.

All the best

Jeni (panda van)

p.s. im open to offers !!! :p:D;)

Well it's pretty clear that we must do what @aston marten said :

Buy the whole lot and divvy it up amongst ourselves, relisting what we don't want back on ebay!

I'd be willing to put in a couple of hundred with a proviso that I get dibs on a part or two.;)

Who else is in?

Or I might just buy it to fill up the new garage....Muhahahahahahahahaha

I'd like to help, if enough people want to do the same

I don't think we'd struggle to get enough of us interested in buying it all. The main thing would be transporting the 2 cars somewhere and storing them. We're all spread out over the country. Maybe someone central could store them in their lockups  Palio

I'm a newbie, so forgive me if I'm speaking out of turn.

Is it possible to get a list of what's available, some commitment from people for what they want and what they're willing to part with?

Could one of the moderators help us set up something through the 'For Sale' section?

No room at the inn! Already run out of space, hence the Super finally going up for sale. :(

dragonman Freebo

Dunno = let's ask them!

panda1408 You'd be able to garage a couple of cars short term?

We'd have to win the lot before we could auction them off on the forum though

I think really one person who has the space to store and time to collect and sort it all out needs to buy everything themselves and then sell it on. If eveyone is chipping in the same amount how do you decide who gets the rare bits like the van back?

I wouldn't be happy storing cars that don't really have an owner, could easily end up stuck with them once everyone has had the parts they want! Of course if someone bought them and wanted them fixing, that would be a different matter!

Yes, sounds about right, I think the auction for it all will go for a relatively small ammount, probably less than the rarer parts would realise on their own.

My fear is that the cars will get broken by youknowwho instead of being put back on the road.
