I've mentioned this to a couple of Panda people before, but if anyone wants a cheap Sei Sporting have a look at this:

John Dragon Man has the knowledge to get it running for you again, price is right, so the problem is just getting it. Might even be a good donor for an engine/wheel transplant into a Panda - again ask John!

Yes, I'd worked out it's not a Panda....... ;)

lock picking using a simple kit is the best way to get into it without any damage. it really does not take much skill.

hmm its a sporting is it the one with multi point injection and a knock sensor? (known as the mk2 i think) what year is it?

i need to know because of what type of ECU it has. it would be a very easy project for someone.. all it needs is a ECU, CODE box and lock set from another Seicento sporting or a punto 55 if the seicento has the non multi point injection engine.

really wish i could afford this! i know i could make some cash on it with ease.

does it still have MOT?

Don't know John, but can find the year easily - it's apparently parked a 5 min walk away. I think it may still have mot, it certainly did recently.

The biggest problem is how far away you are - leaving buying it aside, that's the issue!

Rather than mess about with replacement locks, etc., get the VIN and order one new key from a Fiat dealer. Can have another cloned at Timpsons later. Its the simple non-remote key.
Then will probably need a new battery.
Job done.

The people who stole the keys would have been back for it by now if they'd wanted it. Probably just took everything they could grab quickly.
