Re: Thoresby Hall Classic Car & Bike Show 4th May

Seeing as I live 15-20 mins away I best go along

Re: Thoresby Hall Classic Car & Bike Show 4th May

But but but, it's the same day as Brooklands!
Brooklands is a Looong way from here. (I mean obviously not as far as you, but you're not generally driving it in a Panda when you do a show) 5 hours drive rather than 2. Anyway, it's on the Monday, Brooklands is the Saturday.

I'm working 10 til 14:00 so that rules me out of this one I'm afraid :(

I don't think I can cope with the drive to brooklands and back in a day with my current work load either so that's the start of the car show season well missed :bang:

So after a frustrating day faffing about with Roofus I will definitely be there tomorrow(y)

.....with the wife in her Octavia:eek:

Managed to extinguish the injection light yet again after changing the throttle body and the lambda sensor. However after waiting for the rain to let up a bit I ran out of daylight to investigate why he veers wildly off to the right every time I put the brakes on. I can cope trundling a mile or so to work in a 30 limit but for a motorway run? no. Meanwhile Grumbleweed's had one side of his front suspension rebuilt but not the other so also too wayward for a long run just now. Just not a happy fleet at the minute(n)

haha damn.. well if they complain that you are not in a classic, just say that you are delivering tools... to fix a fiat.. i bet they will let your right in hahaha

Well, that's more buying tools to fix a Fiat actually, love the tool stands at Thoresby. Parking up in the public car park though. Of course if I still had the Peugeot road legal that would be old enough to get in now!
