Could anyone tell me how to get the (*&^%$ things out when the crumbly plastic head has already dissappeared?

If anyone knows of some more practical alternatives (assuming I do get them out) I'd appreciate it.

Yes. The 'plastic' has degraded badly and I don't want to break anything (else)

The 126 uses the same ones.. I think there is a groove in them once all the plastic has broken off... Ugh, sorry can't remember

heat up a + blade screw driver then melt it into the screw, let it cool down then undo it.. its what i did.. and it worked awesome.

also when putting screws back, be sure to grease them.. even though they go into plastic. it will help to remove them in the future

Or if so brittle its falling appart, iirc you can jab and jab and smash and jab until its called apart (the plastic screw head), then pull the lens off and use pliers to remove the remaining screw thread

Was going to change the indicator light bulbs and found the plastic screw head mashed up... I just got pliers and removed it
I also found on eBay replacement screws

There isn't enough plastic to melt a screwdriver into, so I'll try the jab and pliers method.

Didn't think to look on eBay for replacements :bang: so I'll do that next.

Lost track of how many 127 front indicators I've had to drill out! If you do it carefully you can remove the plastic screw but leave the thread intact.

I'm going to try and source some replacements with old fashioned metal heads, so I'll let you know if I find any in case someone wants to put some in their 'Panda First Aid kit'

I had the same issue , I drilled mine out , aslong as your careful it's pretty easy.
