Problem might be paint viscosity, if applied in any other way than roller or spray it is highly likely that it will cause the paint to run down.

Ballons needs somethink sharp to pin thru the rubber surface, so throwing then might have opposite effect. From my childhood i can propose to but 3x dozen eggs, remove the content by punching two tiny holes at the oposite egg ends, blow through to remove egg content, fill with paint, block both hole and off you go! After collision, egg shell bits can be romoved with tweezers.

Nice colour choices and the background cloth will make great seat covers! (y)

Easy fix, a few old tyres tip it on it's side and do it from above

-Yes, that's how I'd do it but don't forget to take off the door mirrors first.
If it were rolled underneath somewhere you can drop paint from decent height a spoonful at a time then you won't need the eggs (although that is genius thinking by kolza). Second floor window might be okay. but a parachute training tower or lighthouse might be better.(y)

My initial tought was to throw few liters of various paint colours on the roller brushes in automatic car wash and press start, but they use shampoo as well.

I notice you have tapped holes in your tank for your fuel pick up to attach to. Is that because the original studs sheared off? That's certainly what happened to my spare tank.

If that is the case can you explain your repair process?

Sorry Nitro for the long reply aint been able to get to a computer for a while. This is how is came out. I just removed the screws and it came out. Do they normally have studs then?

Just a Quick update!

The fuel tank is now in place, up and running. I took this opportunity to do a bit of rust proofing and splashed the paint on the Axle and fuel tank.

The fuel filler pipe that kolza kindly fixed is doing well, (y) no rubbing as off yet with the standard road wheels but looking at it I may have to get some spacers.

Mean while I refreshed the bottom of the driver door. Not to bad (for a near first attempt) if I do say so myself.

At this moment in time I'm going to hold fire on the multi paint idea while I think more before committing to it. I'm Planning on going to Panda Raid 2017 so it gives me plenty of time to fully sort Stubbie for such an adventure!!! :slayer:

Many Thanks, Lewis
