Intrigued why that seam is perfect... any suggestions Vern?

And I'm tempted by the twin sunnie roof (to mount machine guns on the Snatch) is it for sale?

Sorry Andy I have plans for it myself. I do have some material from a Sisley back seat for you though if you're still interested. ;)

That seam is very well produced on the Mk1's, the layers lie very close together, and maybe have more spot welds. I know from stripping Bucket that the Mk2's have very few spot welds and seem to rely on the sealer to keep them together.

That was still on the taxed in 2003. It must have been a death trap then.

The doors are obviously dented beyond usefulness but they don't look that rusty are they off a Marbella?

I think the doors are the originals, difficult to tell as the whole car has been painted, was white originally.

The springs are ok I'd say. (y)

Well that was certainly a bit frilly!!! You don't need me to tell you this ;) but don't leave that side repeater on there...I know they are the same as the X1/9 and are 'sealed' and that one may not be working but you can split them in order to repair them...

It's a shame I didn't see this thread earlier as the left rear wheelarch on my Sisley is starting to bubble away nicely and I see some good wheelarch donors being loaded up there...Sod's law strikes again... :(

are we stipping the carcass here? i could do with a couple of 13" wheels for my 750L. those look ok, some of mine are badly corroded.

Yes I'm pretty sure that one is ok. The r/h one is already sold to my customer who owns the Italian Panda (PG Tips) I'm afraid. I'll double check for you tomorrow and send a PM when I get home. (y)

The original wheels from this one were all damaged by the person who took it from the field, really annoying as the MK1 wheels are rare .

I have fitted the ones you see in the latest pic so that I could move the Panda around, they came from my large stash of spare rims, no problem supplying you with some if you'd like to send me a PM. (y)
