Hi everyone

Just a quick introductory post. I have just joined the forum as I have a few Fiats in the collection (94 punto 94 cinq) but importantly for this section an Italia 90!

I've wanted one for ages - well 18 years actually since my Biology teacher ambushed me in the school corridor (I was known to be into cars and then had a couple of old minis) in about 1996 and thrust a large plastic bag into my arms and said "I know your into cars so these may be of some use to you"

When I opened it up staring up at me was 4 brand new Italia 90 hubcaps. Turns out the mad old bird bought one new and had read that the hubcaps were prone to theft so on the day she collected it she requested the dealer fitted standard silver caps. She kept the originals in her garage but forgot to include them when she traded in the car (for from memory a 95 M plate 205 mardi gras!)

These damn things then followed me around until this year I finally bought the car to go with them. A really nice 2 owner car with a perfect set of hub caps - so Mrs Plucks originals are still in the same bag in my loft - but at least I have the car to now!

Now I know you lot aren't at all like that, you are more likely to be reading Classic Car mags from 20 years ago, than frequenting brothels.
