My Sisley has what remains of gold/bronze coachlines on it, I have been looking at pictures of other sisleys and some of the green ones seem to have these coachlines and some dont, and I havent seen coachlines on any of the other colour of sisleys.

So my question is were they standard for the green sisleys? And was it only the green ones that got coachlines?

Mine doesn't have stripes. I suspect they were original options (probably from the dealer rather than factory options) - it was a  thing to stick stripes on anything that didn't move in the '80's.

I think it's time for an '80's revival, and might find some silly stripes for my mk3 (shame to spoil a mk2) - in fact, I think I may have some tacky "Fiat racing stripes" somewhere - hmm............

Panda Camp 2014 - Fiat Panda 4x4 Sisley walkaround: [ame]http://youtu.be/TeSZsMi8l2U[/ame]

Just checked the video I took of the sisley at panda camp, it doesn't have any traces of the gold styling stripes. And it does look great to me, I reckon what I will do is lift the existing stripes on mine as they are in poor condition in places and if there isn't any noticeable lines left on the paint due to fading (like there was on ptp) I will just decide which look I prefer. But if there is fading I will consider reinstating them.

Though the dealer option theory seems likely as the panda camp one doesn't have any traces.

Have to admit, being used to the ST, my new naked sided colour does look rather bare. Wouldn't want the Colour decals which were deleted new, but I'm rather thinking a thin black stripe might liven things up a bit:cool:

i dont think Talon ever had them.. :/

can you get a picture up of what is left of yours? i bet the green and gold mix well... i may be tempted to do it.

Here you go John, gives you an idea of what it looks like

I worked for Do It All years ago then Texas Homecare, one of them definitely sold self adhesive pinstripes and GTI logos etc back in the day.

One of the lads at DIA had the racing "metro" stickers on his er, metro until it caused the paint under it to bubble.

What I'm getting at is they are probably a owner addition, I remember us selling gold, silver, red, black in thick single and dual stripes. I know this as motoring was part of my section(ing) - despite my transport being a Suzuki Roadie moped ;)
