General up to something...

My old 750 was Turchese and I'm pretty sure its different to this one. Yours seems more green I think, although the 750 was pretty faded I will admit. Putting the chassis number in on Eper may give you the code.

What a good idea: that's how I got Hal's code....

Pippin is 855, I think, though... -- but that seems a long way away, number-wise: although he is the 'standard' 750L colour....

Here are the two side-by-side. (y)

Looking good Andrew! :)

Is that the Panda that belonged to the lady that wasn't part of our meet at Thoresby - but then became part of the group after we all showed up?
Thanks, yes that's the very one, the surprise Panda that showed up at Thoresby the first time we did the toilet line up(y) As far as I can gather the couple bought the car back and basically never really used it, just had it for sentimental reasons and to get it back on the road. I got a folder full of history including a little photo book of the car as they had it new, and the work done to get it back up and running. Lovely thing to see when you're buying a car. It's still not perfect as you can see but it's full of nice touches, daft things like taking the wheel centre off the front tonight to discover brand spanking new wheel bolts obviously put on when they fitted the new wheels.
(Quick pic in the dark later) I mean that's not what you expect to see when you take the hubcap off a 20 year old car is it?

Doh, not starting again, no spark & I think no fuel. Fuel pump primes when you turn the key & there only seems to be a single trigger wire from the ignition for the engine electronics so don't think it's the wiring I disturbed the other day. Anybody's best theories? Crank sensor? Is there a relay or anything for the ecu?

OK, not exotic 301A Verde Polinesia, just plain vanilla 301 Verde. Credit to my local much maligned Halfords who mixed me a pot of Fiat 301 which is nowhere near before spotting that Fiat in their wisdom do a totally different 301 paint code just for Pandas. That one the colour match seems to have come out great, far better than any of the existing patch work on the car. Score 1 for Halfords who I've always found far better than the 'stick it to the man' big name haters would have you believe. £20 for 500ml which is about on a par with ebay sellers. Now if I could just get around to doing the repairs which will need painting....
