Hi I wonder if anyone can offer any advice, after having the cambelt changed along with crankshaft oilseal and waterpump. On my 1.1 panda active (07) when i go above 60MPH the amber warning light flashes when i drop down below 60 all seems OK.A freind checked with his code reader and it wasshowing a intermitant missfire.I'v changed the H.T leads, plugs and coils, but it still do'es it the car seems fine even when the light is flashing it do'esnt seem to missfire. The temp is OK. Any one gotany advice? Thanks for taking the time to view this post.:)

I did have it done at my local garage but the garage has changed hands since then. I dont use the car to oftern as it's only used when I use it with my Motorhome I pullit behind the Motorhome on an 'A'frame. So I dont think the garages new owners would or should be interested. Any ideal as to how i may be able to get it sorted. Thanks for the reply

Not sure about the 1.1, but the 1.2 has sensors on the crank and camshaft that may be out of sync after a cambelt change. With the 1.2 you have to carry out a "phonic wheel relearn" procedure to get the computer to accept the new position. Haynes does not differentiate between 1.1 and 1.2, so likely this is what is needed.

Easy and quick to do for anyone with a registered version of MultiECUScan. Update your profile with your location, then someone near you may be able to help. Takes about 5 minutes and involves revving the engine several times with the PC connected.

Thanks for the reply Portland Bill and A3jeroen first off I think I will try your suggestion about reving the engine 3X 5000 see if that helps if not, if it do'snt then I will go down Portland Bill's Idea but I think it's time to let the garage take a look. can any one reccomend any where in the Doncaster/Scunthorpe area. Thanks again to Portland Bill and A3jeroen.
