My son and a friend are driving to Mongolia in a very nice Panda (look on Facebook for The Mad Maximisers) to raise money for charity - but equally of course to have an amazing drive
It's a great little car and they have reached Istanbul successfully, but they've had two breakdowns so far: once in Freiburg, and again just a day or two ago in Turkey. Both times it seems to have been an electrical problem - I'm not sure what exactly.
Can anyone give any advice or tips to them so that they can avoid any similar problems when they get somewhere with no possibility of helpful local mechanics or passers-by?
Do these cars have known electrical issues?
Thanks.
