Off Topic Beware: jedgley17 on eBay

Ok so no activity on that account as far as our transactions are concerned - fair enough.

What I would like to know now is to confirm the following:-
Greg1275 - My payment was sent to email address gd1275@(onlineemail).co.uk and I know your name to be Greg Davies - this bears significant resemblance to your username with your initials "gd" so I'm confident that this is infact your email address that is linked to your paypal - can you confirm this please?

As I previously said in another reply, this payment was made for parts advertised through an advert for "Fiat Panda 4x4 that I am breaking for spares" on ebay so nothing was actually purchased directly through ebay hence why they have no involvement in the refund process. There is no way you or I can provide evidence of ebay messages as ebay only hold private messages in an account for three months before they are deleted, however all the info of our dealings from lack of answered phone calls and text messages I do still have screenshotted (if that's a word!) to prove the amount that you have asked for and to provide your paypal email as stated above.

If you can confirm that it is your email then I can ring paypal again to follow up your claim that you have not received payment, and sufficiently substantiate that they are at fault.

If indeed the "Greg Davies" has received my payment into his account, then there must be another Greg on another farm in Worcestershire breaking two Panda 4x4s, a grey one and a white one which used to have a set of similar Yugo wheels on it, that also is a fan of Mini engines meaning he uses "1275" alot in his usernames...

How do we know jedgley17 (Greg Davies) has only one PayPal account? I know people who have two -- one of for business; one private. If jedgley17 (Greg Davies) is keen on scamming, then jedgley17 (Greg Davies) may have 27 of the blummin' things, may he not...? :chin:
Alixcompo -- do you know how you paid jedgley17 (Greg Davies) -- and what email address it was associated with...?

By the way: just in case anyone's not sure who I'm asking about, it's jedgley17 (Greg Davies). :D

Their ability to quote dates and invoice numbers et cetera suggests to me that they are genuine in so far has having made these transactions.

In so far as they have documented evidence that they sent you money in exchange for parts they ordered from you? Yes you are absolutely right Jedgley17 (Greg Davies) come on man, you can't surely be telling us in one breath that you both have seen the evidence and admit what it shows, and that it somehow adds up to you not having received the funds? This is low man, a sad day for the fiat forum when this sad act gets played out.

You can't be serious with that screenshot either by the way, that shows only a very small filtered field, and if I chose to filter it by transactions between my PayPal address and one other PayPal address (I am presuming you have other customers) it would come up with something very similar, let's see a full size screenshot of your paypal archive for august 2013 so that we can see which filters are being used. This excuse of not being able to use technology is so lame its frightening.

Looks real to me!

All jesting aside, there is plenty of evidence coming forward for the prosecution. I haven't seen anything convincing from the defence.

If this is a mistake then it needs to be sorted urgently - I'd be hopping up & down if I was an innocent seller at this point. There can only be a mistake by PayPal, or someone else pretending to be the seller, plus the logical conclusion.

I'm nearly ready to send the jury out to consider their verdict.....

This is interesting, in the past jedgley17 has left 3 positive feedbacks for a gregd1985 on ebay. I know we're talking about gregd1275 but it would appear that our Greg was born in 1985 (May 27th) so must be a larger than large coincidence that Greg got 3 negative feedbacks then jedgley17 posted positive feedback for him.. Try messaging jedgley17 on ebay and you'll get a reply from Jodie. Greg's girlfriends account perhaps ;) or maybe Greg is Austria's Eurovision entry for next year :D

Have a look at the reason for gregd1985's negative feedback

This is the account that was selling the Yugo wheels, and the account that I was initially dealing with when I was messaging about bits before payment.

Should've taken more note really shouldn't I

Good work Jamie

Hang on.....there was a transaction on the bay feedback dated 5/8/13... So why is that not shown on the PayPal screenshot dated 31/7/13 - 31/8/13..?????

Am I missing something? Or is the date of 5/8/13 the time the feedback was left?

You don't get feedback when you say you are breaking something then do a private transaction for unlisted parts outside ebay but send a paypal invoice

You should have an email from PayPal for ANY transactions that take place. If you have deleted it most email providers have a "recover deleted messages" option. This would be more evidence.

I cant believe anyone could be rsed to do what you have done for such piddling amounts of cash.

Many a mickle makes a muckle, an a' that! (onemanmade will understand...!) :D

Seriously, we know of £60 and £90 just on here. How many times has Greg Davies (jedgley17) done this? Greg Davies (jedgley17) could be raking in thousands, if Greg Davies (jedgley17) has loads of different eBay and PayPal accounts; lots of different email addresses... -- for goodness sake, he's even stooped so low as to do this with his girlfriend's name and eBay account: although, we only have his word that Greg Davies (jedgley17) has any friends at all; and she could be totally complicit, of course.

You could be right. Not sure if the Police would be interested but surely this is theft?

Boy oh boy have I missed the fun here.

What the heck is going on here??!?!!

Dom

I dunno, you're the computer expert :p

In fairness, his picture does show all activity for August 2013, and nothing shows for the dates of Andy and Alix's transactions.

Could be anyone's account. Doesn't prove its the account the payment were sent to.

My apologies for getting the attachment wrong again. Hopefully i've got i right this time. View attachment 137417

Could be any paypal account, might not be the one the payment were sent to, but then again you probably already know that ;)
