| FIRING ORDER ON FIRE ENGINE Anyone have any ideas. When i got the car the leads were off and the two firing combos that ive tried wont start the engine and sound fine on turnover...i've tried 1-4-3-2 and 1-3-2-4

| If you have the FIRE engine - exhaust at the front, next to the radiator - your distributor cap is probably rectangular where the leads plug in, not round. It probably looks a bit like this ![]() If you've got the 903 engine you'll need to ask PandamanPaul nicely to have a look at his ( it's the red car in the "Italian Job" pictures ) :)

| If this is the FIRE type engine, the firing order is 1-3-4-2 and this will be found printed on the cylinder head casting, carb side. Examination of the distributor cap will show each outlet numbered to the required cylinder. (This assumes that the cam shaft is correctly set and not 180 deg about) Rgds, Pete.
