Only just caught the end of this tonight sadly, it's Scrapheap Challenge one of the last few episodes presented by Dick Strawbridge. Dick's Diamonds made a remote controlled flying car from a 2wd Panda, I can't seem to find the episode on YouTube but keep your eyes peeled as it may be repeated again this week...

There was no embargo on yesterdays shoot, but it was dark and my old phone doesn't have a flash and wet me new phone was a day old and not water proof.

If all goes according to plan my Panda Fizz will b haplessly broken into on Panorama on the 29th.

I showed the actor how to do it a dozen times and he still couldn't so I was playing the part of "the magic of television" hiding next to the rear wheel unlocking the car with the key and removing it before he opened the door.

From Cricklewood to Hollywood it's all fake. ;)

Last night my car was a star...

...for about six seconds on Panorama. :)

For the record and before any moderators remove the image. The actor was not breaking into my car if you at the bottom right of the last picture you can just see my hand where I unlocked the car with the key as he pretended to pull it with a wire hook. This was the "Magic of television". Pandas are notoriously difficult to break into. As the actor found after trying for an hour.
