What I would really like to see is a pic of the last mk2 coming off the production line. I know that this happened in various landmarks in the beetle and mini's production so hopefully the photos for landmark productions of pandas are out there too! Google has proved fruitless on this occasion though. Anyone any ideas?

I had a pic of the last 7 coming off of the production line in 2003, but lost it was all my other data when hardrive died a few years back :(
 
Last mk2 has been made on friday ,september 5th 2003 . It was amaranth red 1100 young.(y)

Can certainly relate to cutting large parts out of Panda's lately! Not quite sure why he has cut that much out though when the car looks pretty solid? He's jacking it up with the factory jack so the sill must be ok!

Maybe just the usual surface rust in the seams, still strong enough for the time being but not long for this world.

Heres the second bit. Those of sensitive disposition should look away in the last minute
