Greetings, Citizens.

I don't post much nowadays, but having spent the last week in Tuscany I thought you'd be pleased to hear that classic Pandas are alive and thriving in that part of the world. As they're a rare sight on UK roads nowadays, it was a pleasure to see so many pottering around in the sunshine.. I must have seen over 50 in just a few days. :)

So, as every one loves as a picture, here's a few..

I also got an excellent score in terms of the rental car this time. A 500 1.2 Lounge, straight off the back of the lorry.. 16 Kms on the clock! Last time I was in Italy I got an Ypsilon showing 60,000 Km with dents on every panel so I guess by the law of averages I was due something decent :)

We've just come back from a week in Tuscany. We hired a brand new Panda (glimpses of it in the pics, registration EW ..) for £13 a day inc unlimited mileage. In our 600 mile trip around Tuscany, we saw classic Pandas day in and day out, a fair percentage of them 4x4s. The most common was the Panda Young in white.

I snapped over 80 of them and uploaded them to this library ..

Pandas in Tuscany - May 2014.

Enjoy!

Been to Tuscany also to get engaged, spent 3 days and counted 62 pandas on our drive around in a brand new Panda. Heres a few pics, the new fiancee thought i was completely mad.

Few 4x4's a lot seemed to be later models 98-03 with airbags etc. Didnt see any selectas though :(

My god, so many clean doors!
Wonder if they are as rust free underneath?

You know what this means. I bet their scrap yards have plenty of non rusted panda's :)

Funny you should mention that, i happened to take a detour past one in Pisa, It was shut unfortunately but from what i could see through the gates it had 2 racks full of doors.
