Us poor mortals can't afford Verns prices, unless we pay for it in kind!!!!
How did you pay your bill?
I would have to donate a kidney.......

Hi Dave

point taken, and had I of asked for a quote at the beginning I might well have not gone ahead...but as I arranged with Vernon to make regular payments throughout the project that ensured he had some income and I didn't get a huge bill at the end. I am so pleased with the end result , it far exceeds my expectations , so that in the end it was money well spent...much better than buying a new car with all that silly technology and no character...give me an old car any day .... julie

So Julie, based on the facts....
If it ever were to come up for sale there would be at least 4 x 0's £.0,000
Which is one zero more than all Pandas go for!
This on paper means I would have to donate 2 eyes, 2 kidneys, 2 lungs and my heart to you or Vern.
My testicles would have already been staked out on barbed wire by my dearly beloved at the mere thought of another Panda!

If it helps to protect your personal area , bucket is unlikely to be for sale for a very long time .

ongratulations on what is probably the finest panda in Britain. The more of thee restorations the better. You have added an air of creditability to the cause of resurrecting pandas. Not all rust buckets after all.
:)

Thanks... not sure that was a necessary change. Poor vern might have to do another model just so that we can make sure we are certain 4x4s rule the roost.
One of these from the continent might just edge old bucket out mind.

Thanks, it's a very subjective thing. I think Julie would agree with you and that was the whole point of the build.

Cheers for the bump Vernon, you did an amazing job on this one! Was nice to see the album at Haynes the other day and there's lots of great photos and info on here. Thank you, only slightly jealous! ;)
