Hello all

I've just noticed that the clutch cable on the 4x4 has been rubbing on the brake servo housing. I'm trying to figure out how this is happening as it appears to be attached to the bulkhead correctly. The cable is routed inside/on top of the speedo cable and I'm wondering if that's the problem. Could anyone confirm if this matches the routing of their cable on a 4x4?

Cheers

Sorry I never got chance today to get a pic of the cable. Forcast for tomorrow is sun so I'll get some then.

Ok 2 weeks ago I said I'd post a pic, :(

Sorry for the delay but I could not get a good pic of the cable in BEX and with it being up for sale didn't want to paint the bits that needed highlighted.

Anyway now 'the grey' is out from under cover I was able to get the pic I wanted.

Imagine there is an engine and gearbox in front od the white line. Thats the way it should run.

Again sorry for the delay.

No problem and thanks for doing this. (y) This looks like the later version of the cable with the metal bracket and sleeve where it meets the bulkhead. The route is very different from mine which continues along the bulkhead to a p clip and then heads off almost a right angles towards the clutch arm. I think I'd need to see an old style cable for comparison. Does anyone else have one to show?:) It might be too awkward to get a picture though.
