An interesting little article from the March 2004 copy of CAR.

The official press release for the Y10. Its dated 1985 and was presumably handed out to journalists. Whats cool is there a sticker on the front giving the dates of the press conference and test drive. The blurb inside is mostly eaxctly that. Sales blurb. I scanned a couple of the more interesting pages and drawings.

Extract about the Panda from Giorgio Garuzzos book about his time at Fiat. Interesting though you may not agree with him.

Interesting, although I dont agree with the author, the panda is surely one of the longest running and highest produced models ever? I mean I know its not as long lived and therefore produced as the beetle, the civic or the F150 yet, but small cars are the order of the day! Just goes to show how under appreciated and ahead of its time the panda was and is!

I need to look into the numbers of this and see how it stacks up exactly.

The "Kroma"" was a special edition from a main Milan Fiat dealer "Spotorno"
It had colour coded bumpers, modified rear wheel arch, PandaKroma stickers for
Lire 100.000.00 around £40 in today money
for an additional Lire 250.000.00 (around £100)you could have the seat in "burberry" or "hunting" style
The Milan Spotorno Dealer is still going strong, Maybe i can contact them for you to see if they have some more info on the "hunting" style seats..
