While my Fantasia has been laid up waiting for M.O.T stuff to be done and dusted the fuel in the tank has gone off and the car stinks when I start her up (once a week or so). This is partly due to the longevity of modern fuels and the solvent effect the fuel is having on the plastic fuel tank.

Is there a metal tank from the Fiat range that will fit the 2wd Panda?

I know the Seicento and Panda 4x4 have metal tanks but don't know if they will fit the two wheel drive platform.

I'm planning to use a racing fuel cell in my red Panda so I can drop the original tank and make one if not but if there's one already available it would save a lot of time.

All the best. :)

cinq tank is metal but i guess you would have to make your own mounting bracket for it to fit.. if it would fit. the 4x4 tank.. good luck finding one.. i still have not found one for a carbed 4x4 :/

i must admit, i do find it a little odd that a plastic tank has failed, even with modern fuels.. heh you sure that the hoses are all fine? and the filler pipe is not the part that's failed... just a thought..
