oopsadaisey has put her panda selecta up for sale, was driving along, then loss of drive, won`t move, what could be wrong? can they be overhauled by a specialist? or use a box off another fiat or the ford KA? read of a guy on here who put a manual in,problems with fitting one? shame for the sake of another box :

ive had that box on puntos and every time they have gone there has been pre warning of hard to select gears of slipping or jumping, never know one to just suddenly stop working i bet its some thing simple, but no idea what, brushes maybe?

Not from the noise it was making Dave.
Jen (pandavan) was driving at the time and just before it happened there was a loud 'flapping metal' type noise.
Drive band maybe?

Same gearbox as the CVT Micra's

Sounds like belt has failed. Interesting to hear if CVT guild changes and filter change were kept upto date or not.
