Hi all

Took the master cylinder off today with the hope i would repair it with new seals.

sadly the inside is corroded, so new seals are not gonna do the job.

So i need a new one, but i can't find one anywhere online and imagine the motor factors will have a hard time tracking one down.

Shall i get it resleeved? or does anyone know, or even have one spare!?

it looks like this, one exit on the top, and one on the end.

close but no cigar

I was wondering if i could try my local engineers on tuesday and see if they might drill a hole in the other side of the new one i got (Where the blue plug is, its the wrong side), and put a block in the other... might work quite well, no?

can you not put the 2 way splitter in the other way round so it faces inwards from the hole that's there? that would only leave the sockets about an inch further across if there's any slack on the brake pipes they should still connect. If not it might be cheaper to re route the pipes than buy another cylinder if you're up for the work. (cylinders are out there but they ain't cheap)
Fascinated to know if it does work as mine is the same cylinder fitted as yours!
