Apologies if I placed this is the wrong section, I'm new here.

I have my mums old panda that we imported from Gozo off malta some six years ago. Having not got very far getting on the road for the last six years I recently sent it to a garage to get fixed on a 'as and when you get the time, no rush' agreement. Unfortunately the piston rings have seized so even after putting oil in the cylinders the psi barely gets to 25. Despite only having 30k miles, and the car always being garaged, the engine is shot. As well as the usual components, mostly rubber, that will need replacing the engine has come as a bit of a shock. Does any one on the forum have, or know, a decent engine for sale? Is there compatibility between other fiats? It's a four speed manual 1000 fire from approx 1988/9. I live new heathrow airport. Any help or advice greatly appreciated. Gozopanda
