General Anniversary?

Depends if the usual thing happens and everyone goes 'need somewhere central, hmmmm..... how about Hastings, seafront cruise! yay!'

I'd try and make one though if it happens(y)

Whooh, hang on - there was a jokey post then everyone has shot off on a tangent! We're already up at Derby on 5th August, so no point having a separate meet in the same place - imho - plus it's nowhere near the sea or anything car related of interest (I'm not counting Burnaston Toyota factory here, though it is an option & has a certain perverse irony about a Panda meet there come to think of it.... :D).

Nothing against the idea as such, but Aylesbury also claims to be the furthest point from the sea, is near to me, has more or less no redeeming features (like Derby?) and absolutely NOT somewhere interesting for us to meet :p
purple haze surely we need to decide where to go, then give some options for dates? Soz, not aimed at you in any sense apart from your idea so trying to hand the torch (hey see what I did there, topical or what!! ;) ) back to you for a moment.

Well that's kicked a Jaguar amongst the Panda's, so I'll await developments....

Could always latch on to an existing show, for example http://www.classicshows.org/blenheim260812.php That's a nice location and a good show - the booking price is £3.50per car for that one, so you get to see Blenheim grounds on the cheap too.

I know that location a bit too well, so I'd like to go somewhere by the seaside with fish'n'chips etc, ideally - though NOT Southend with all due apologies to anyone who lives there!

If it wasn't so far I'd say West Somerset railway to go to/from Minehead on the steam train, but that's a big hike for me, let alone anyone further North! Kidderminster has a steam railway going past the Safari park.

Hey now I'm on a roll, we could go to Whipsnade - you can take the cars round the park & through the safari bit, with spectacular views from the hill. That would be  - a load of Panda's at a wildlife park. Need to get your Tesco vouchers out though as entry aint cheap :(

Ok ok I'm going now............ :nerner:

Love those venues too.....but let's be mindful of our friends up north.

I'm off to check out classic car shows in the middle of the uk as further options to latch on to.

Ok.... Classic car shows

2nd of September is trax
Umm, don't want to be negative or anything but only 8 people seem to be attending Trax and I don't see any Panda regulars, was anyone planning to go?
plus it's nowhere near the sea
That's good, too near the sea everything'll start rusting:eek:

If it's only a handful of Pandas gathering there's a pub meet 30th September posted on Retro Rides right in Gaydon territory for time and location:
