Ok this is gonna make you laugh if you've been following all the problems I've had recently. Today, while sitting in my car with the engine running steam started comming from under the bonnet.. oh yes!! The radiator has a nice leak.
sooooo.. anyone got a radiator they wanna sell me? :D I'm gonna look how bad it is tonight to see if I can bodge it like I have done with the sump but otherwise its gunna be a replacement...

Gosh I do wonder what will go next!?! lol

Hi Jaff.
Don't tempt fate, by the looks of your previous posts and problems, you've already replaced your alternator, battery, engine mount, brake master cylinder, gearbox, clutch?, fuel pump, drive shaft?, wheel bolt/hub?, now a sump and radiator.... No trouble with the suspension or exhaust so it must be the ignition system next then!
I hope nothing goes wrong for at least six months now, you've had enough to do!
Good luck.

Sorry to hear about your probs with the car - but so pleased I'm not the only one. Bought my cinq sporting end of Jan and it's been off the road more than on. Just had exhaust, hand brake, hand brake levers, wheel cylinders, brake cables, brake pads and sump done - gearbox mount and twin spark coil pack are being done Friday, then the crankshaft oil seal leak is due to be done next week hopefully. Fingers crossed we both have better luck in the future!! :bang:

Shame on you Steve - when I suggested selling my cinq last week I was told that I should stick with it no matter what!!!! My cinq has certainly not been a cheap runaround, but probably my fault for buying from Ebay (from an obviously dishonest person).

I love my Fiats, but unless they are rare or at least getting rare I draw the line at spending hundreds of pounds to keep them on the road. Especially in the Pandas case. It cost me £100 and if I had to spend more than it was worth to fix it then I'd have to think very carefully about whether or not to bother. My Uno was stripped and scrapped for that very reason. Now if it was a Sisley or even a standard 4X4 it would be a different matter altogether...

 Jaff ! ... you are NOT the luckiest man around are you !?! :(
The radiator out of the CLX looks o.k. and was certainly not leaking when I drove it here if it's of any interest.

Incidentally, both our cars look scruffy, battered and illkempt...both are worth around £500 ish ... Both have cost me over £1,000 in repair work over the last year !

We just love them

Steve, my panda has huge sentimental value, I can't just scrap it unless it was totally useless.. :'(

Pandafan, I'll pm you about the radiator.. thank you once again my friend!

Mr Fox, Sir,
If you intend to come over here again, might I suggest that you work out a 'wish list' of things that you're likely to want and send it to me in advance ?
Always a pleasure to see you of course, but think of the petrol :)

Kindest,

Hi Jaff,
where are you based. I heard Simon @ Advanced Autocooling (0117 9860022) in Bristol can supply cheap panda radiators £36 + VAT.
Cheers
Ben

I'm near manchester. For now, Pandafan has kindly offered me a radiator so I should be okay. Is that price for a new one? I'll keep a note of you incase i have further problems.
