How does the head unit illumination wire work? Can I wire it up to the headlight switch?

Yes, just wire it to the sidelight feed from the switch, not really needed imo as I can't say I've ever thought the stereo was too bright.

If you have a cigarette lighter thats lights up when the lights are on then you can connect it to this, should be abit easier than connecting to the headlight switch.

Me either but i have got a iso harness so might as well wire as much as I can up "properly".

My light switch is a mess and not a standard panda switch, Should I just wire the illumination lead to one of the two wires for the side lights?
