Greetings, Citizens.

Well, today I put a deposit down on another car, so I shall be moving on to pastures new..

A chap locally has expressed an interest in taking on my Panda so I hope that's the case, otherwise I'm afraid it's going in part-ex next Saturday. I hope it finds a loving new home as it's too good to run into the ground.

I will still stick around if everyone is OK with that, I know you're a friendly bunch and there will still be a Panda in the household.. the new car is a black 58 plate 100HP

wow, a Panda 100hp eh, well you're not messing about finding a donor for that engine swap you were talking about, so why are you getting rid of the proper Panda?
Good luck with it though, know exactly what you see in it, those 100hps are lovely cars. Another 20 to 30 years in that one and it'll develop that character we all crave too, just gotta look after it from day one.

Nice choice Garry , but please don't trade it in, you'll never know who will get it next :shrug:, nor get it's true value.

The 100HP is a great choice though

Just placed a classified ad for the Parade.. I'd really like it to go to a member. I've got an arrangement with the dealer with the 100HP that if I can get a better price/sell to an enthusiast then I can do what I want with the Parade. They don't really want it anyway..

Mrs Plug and I talked at length about this.. neither of us really want to sell. I guess the ideal solution would have been a more pokey motor in the Parade.. but with an engine swap, you never know what you're getting. The Parade has always been reliable (apart from the head gasket incident a couple of years ago ) but we're not sure if a modified car is within our comfort zone.

So, today was decision time.. but I think we've made the right one. We will always look back fondly, but times change. I hope the 100HP will keep us smiling for the next 5 years...

What to say. I know you and Mrs Plug have been thinking about it for a while. Glad to see you've decided on a 100hp though. I hope that you have fun with the 100hp and post pics up in the Panda section and that your parade goes to a good home.
