I am pretty new with Panda`s so I wonder what the differences between MK1 and 2 are? Except for the grill and the rear wheel arches?

The MK1 ran from 1980 - 86, this one's an 84.

The FIRE engine was introduced with the MK 2, also rear suspension went from leaf springs and live rear axle to coils and the omega axle, as yours has. Doors lost the quarter lights in favour of one piece windows and seat design changed. That's the main changes, there may be some smaller details too. Oh, and the V8 was no longer an option .

Ah :idea: you mean the windows, well spotted!

The quater lights windows open fine. Thanks vman for your mk1 mk2 diff. Main one is it has a fiat 127 engine. Leaf springs are softer than on the 4x4.

Still great condition for MK1!!

Looks lovely and I am very jealous too! I love the mark one wheels. I have the quarterlights in the Terra camper but no leavers One of them is prespex actually and you've reminded me I've been meaning to get that replaced!

Wreckmaster...Another diff is the dashboard layout. All the electrics and switches work which is a bonus..


Not sure the altenator is charging though...could be the batt but dont think so...
