I finally bit the bullet and decided it was time to replace the broken bonnet release cable. It was getting a bit boring fiddling about with screwdrivers after forgetting to leave the remaining stub of wire hanging out, a couple of times. Imagine my surprise, then, to find that there is no hole under the battery shelf for the cable to pass through (as there is on my other standard Panda). Try as I could, I just couldn't see where the cable is supposed to pass through to the interior. I don't really want to start ripping away the interior lining until I'm sure which bit I should remove so any Sisley or even standard 4x4 owners are welcome to comment on my predicament (I had you in mind Pandaman, thanks for the mention earlier on!).

I'll have a look for you tomorrow.
I disconnect the cable and fit bonnet pins !
