When I picked up my new blue CLX recently I had to travel 160 miles to get it, so that was a 160 mile journey for the CLX and 320 miles for my 750. Got me wondering what my longest journey in a Panda has been, and I think it was about 400 miles, in one hit. I did stop for 30 mins. half way to load a Hillman Minx engine into the boot ( the reason for the trip ), but other than that it was non stop.

I'm sure there's alot of you die hard Panda owners out there who can beat that so lets see your distances. :)

Drove from Arnhem (Netherlands) to Tréhorenteuc (France) for my holiday.
That's about 925KM (575miles) and drove about 2600km (1615miles) in 12 day's (y)

Even with the luggage it went well, you just have to make sure you have enough speed to make it up the hill's/mountain ;)

About 900 kms in 12 hours going back from I International Panda Trophy near Lubeck (Germany) to Warsaw. Mainly on motorways. And about 5000 kms in two weeks during II Polish Panda Trip to Romania. From Warsaw to Constanta (Black Sea coast) and back, seeing numerous interesting places in Romania on the way. No motorways:D

hmmm, did Scotland to Hastings for my grandfathers funeral years back with the Y10. Didn't actually make it back up though, left it with family in Northumberland on the way back as it had had enough:( fortunately inherited his car so got back OK.

Longest for me so far has been 145miles - Basildon to Birmingham; the trip back to Brum is actually 5miles longer than the trip down  I made detour on the way back from Brooklands AutoItalia earlier this year to pick up a set of Lancia Delta wheels, so that's 128miles plus whatever the extra bit was
Still nothing on Jim tho...

Ours must have been about 250 miles, London to Coventry via Rugby and back in a afternoon and on £22 of petrol.

Although my Cousin borrowed Manda and done London to Wakefield and back.

Mine was 352 miles (return) from Birmingham to Tan Hill Inn - Middle of winter & freezing cold. I drove home along the moors with a big coat, hat, scarf gloves and a blanket over my lap -Heater blasting out full. Floyd did me proud and got me home very safely (y)

Comes to something doesn't it when the cars are older than most of the students on the forum!
