(T) front wiper motor only works direct wired

if i put power just to the 2 wires that go direct into motor it works, but not when powered the proper way

i thought i see a post how to fix this the other day but now cant find it

its the motor i took out of 750 and put the 4x4 one in there and it all worked, so fault must be inside this some where

If it work when you put power direct onto the motor, the motor is fine. Like Jon said, must be fuse or duff wiring. Presume there is a relay in the cicuit to cotrol the forward back motion? if there is that mught be the problem

its not the circut relay or anything like that as it dont work in 2 cars but another motor did, its some thing in the plastic box on the motor. Any one know how to fix what is in there?

Hmm... what is in there it must be the control unit for fast and intermitent.
when you put power on the motor direct, does it just spin or does it go back and forth?

I had that.
The printed circuit board failed.
You can bypass it by connecting the supply to different pins (on mine there are 5 pins i think but only 2 speed settings) by plugging into one of the others it gave me fast when I switched it on but when I stopped it would not return to start, it stayed in situe (normally across the screen)
We could not get at the pcb to repair it, £20 got me a whole new second hand one with the arm etc.

The PCB's in them are funny things. Is the intermittant not controled by a relay on the fuse board though
